The Ballygar Carnival Dog Show takes place on Bank Holiday Monday August 7, 2023.
We’re back and bigger than ever with even more Classes to enter! Whether you’re a professional or just starting out we have classes for everyone!
Loads of amazing prizes on offer! 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in every class will receive Bags of Dog Food, Trophies and Rosettes! Plus some Classes have bonus cash prizes.
Get practicing, registration opens from 12noon and judging commences at 1pm! Entry €5 per class. See you all there!

1. Best Puppy (Male) under 12 months
2. Best Puppy (Female) under 12 months
3. Best Gundog
4. Best Guard Dog
5. Best Working Dog
6. Best Toy Dog
7. Best Collie Dog
8. Best Terrier Dog
9. Best Utility Dog
10. Best Hound Dog
11. Best Non-Pedigree Dog (mixed breed)
12. Best Golden Oldie Dog over 7 years
13. Best Rescue Dog (any breed)
14. Best Handler by a Lady
15. Best Handler by a Gentleman
16. Best Handler by a Child under 14 years old
17. Best Dog in Fancy Dress (the funnier the better!)
18. Best Trick/Most Obedient Dog
19. CHAMPION OF THE SHOW & Reserve Champion
(This class is applicable only to those placing 1st in Classes 1 – 10)
