Ballygar Carnival
By the Community, For the Community!
The Ballygar Carnival is run by the community, for the community. It is dependent on the help and support of local volunteers to assist the committee with organising the events each year.
There is no shortage of roles available, from specific sub-committees to individual responsibilities. For example:
• Stewards
• Bar Staff
• Cloakroom Staff
• Washroom Attendants
• Catering
• Ticket Office
• Fair Day Sub-Committee
• Dog Show
• Fancy Dress
• Social Media & Marketing
Anyone is welcome to put their name forward to lend a hand, as the saying goes; many hands make light work! Experience helps, but training is provided where applicable. It is only with our volunteers that we are able to organise a successful carnival.
