  • Creation Time Prayer Service in Parish Garden, St Marys Church, Ballygar – After 10:30am Mass on Sunday, September 27th, there will be a short prayer service and tree planting in celebration of Creation time. This will take place outside the church. All are welcome to attend.
  • Time of Creation -The Time of Creation is celebrated from September 1st to October 4th each year.  Our former Pope Francis calls on all Christians to be more aware of the beauty of God’s creation around us, take time to appreciate it and make every effort to protect it.  This year’s theme, “Living Water”, explores Ezekiel 47:9 and 12 as a powerful biblical vision of hope and ecological healing. Set amid exile and loss, the image of living water flowing from God’s sanctuary reveals divine healing that renews land, water, biodiversity, and human responsibility towards the whole creation.  Please see our Creation Time Sacred Space in the sanctuary of our church.
