  • Bishop Kevin’s Pastoral Reflections for Lent – Bishop Kevin will offer a short Pastoral Message each Wednesday during Lent. They can be read on
  • EUCHARISTIC ADORATION FOR PEACE: Adoration will commence at 10.00 a.m. and conclude at 10.00 p.m. on Thursday 29th February 2024 in St Mary’s Church Mountbellew for the intention of peace throughout the world.  Time sheets will be available for completion in advance to ensure there is adequate attendance throughout the twelve-hour period.
  • Trócaire Lenten Campaign – This year, Trócaire’s lenten campaign focuses on the country of Malawi, Africa. Malawi is one of the least developed countries in the world and has been badly affected by climate change. In the Machinga district, Malita and her family must make a one-hour trip up to five times a day to collect water. Please support Trócaire in helping communities develop sustainable access to clean, safe and reliable water supplies by taking home a Trócaire box today or going to
  • Medjugorje Youth Festival – The Diocese of Elphin invites young adults in the diocese aged 18-35 on pilgrimage to Medjugorje this summer for the Youth Festival from 31st July – 7th August, led by Bishop Kevin.   • Ballygar Mens Shed – operates from the Town Hall in Ballygar every Wednesday from 2pm – 4pm.  Have a few hours free and looking for something to do?   • The East Galway GAA clubs annual walk for 2023 raised the Fantastic Sum of €12,613.30 and last week the cheque was presented to John Donnelly (An Advocate for Cancer Care West) at the Shearwater Hotel Ballinasloe, Thanks to all who did the walk, sponsored or gave a donation.
