INVITATION TO WATCH THE FILM “THE LETTER”- We, the Pope John Paul II participants in Transition Year, would like to invite the community to join us for a special screening of the film “The Letter”, on Friday 8th March at 8:15 pm in Ballygar’s Courthouse.   “The Letter” tells the incredible story of the Laudato Si encyclical letter sent by Pope Francis to the world. The film chronicles the journey of five individuals, each representing marginalised groups often overlooked in international environmental discussions. They all meet Pope Francis, who shares his vision in stunningly human interactions in the city of Assisi. At its roots, the film is about humanity and how we can work together to overcome climate change.  This message is especially relevant during this season of Lent as we support each other in Trocaire’s work to support people and communities to tackle the causes of poverty, violence, justice, and water and climate injustice.
