Jubilee Year – Confessions for the Jubilee year would be on 28th September in Ballygar from 5-6pm. It will be done by Fr. Dan from Ballyleague parish Roscommon.  We shall also have a special mass that same day in Ballygar for creation. 

Anointing of the Sick will take place on the 27th September during 7.30pm Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygar.

  • “The Ballygar Support Group” will be hosting their annual Coffee Morning for Galway Hospice on Thursday, 25th September from 10am until 2pm in the Courthouse. In aid of Galway Hospice, the funds raised and services provided remain as essential as ever. All donations appreciated.”
  • Autumn Gathering – Cuppa and a Chat (Toghergar) – An Autumn Gathering after 9.30 am Mass is planned for the last Sunday in September, 28th. It will provide an opportunity for parishioners to meet after mass, for a cuppa and a chat. 
  • Ballygar Ladies Club resumes on Thursday 25th September @ 8pm in the Courthouse. All ladies welcome. Admission €5
  • Courthouse Cafe opendaily Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm, Saturday 10am to 1pm. This cafe is run by volunteers for the community. Your support would be appreciated.
