- Jubilee of Marriages Couples celebrating their Silver, Ruby, Golden, Diamond, Platinum or other wedding anniversaries are invited to attend a Jubilee Mass, along with their families and friends, on Sunday 5th October at 2.30pm in Sligo Cathedral or Sunday 19th October at 2.30pm in Strokestown Church. Bishop Kevin will celebrate both Masses. Light refreshments will be served afterwards for all in attendance. - Kennys Bar is celebrating 175 years in business this year and to mark the occasion, we are hosting our first ever Trad Fest on 5th-7th September. All musicians are heartedly welcome to pull up a stool and join in on the craic. On Friday 7th, we will be taking you back to 1850 with no lights, no WiFi, no TVs, no jukebox… simply each other. Saturday 6th will kick off with a coffee morning in aid of Parkinson’s Galway – all support would be greatly appreciated.
