- – The Elphin & Achonry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday, 17th August 2025. There will also be a Family Day on the same date offering various activities for families with children of all ages. The dioceses extend a special invitation to altar servers in our parishes to join the pilgrimage along with their families. - he Elphin & Achonry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from 29th August to 3rd September 2025. Application forms for the Assisted Pilgrim Section are available from Fr. Ray Milton, P.P., Pilgrimage Director, St. John’s, Lecarrow, Co. Roscommon (090 6661115). Closing date for receipt of Assisted Pilgrim Applications: 16th June. Nominations for the Youth Section are being sought from parishes for young people aged 17 to 20 years to participate in the pilgrimage. Youth must be nominated through their Priest/Chaplain. - – Join the National Grandparents Pilgrimage at Knock Shrine on Sunday, 27th July, celebrating the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. Grandparents, families and all the faithful are invited to this joyful celebration. The day includes Anointing of the Sick in the Basilica at 2.30pm; Mass at 3pm, and rosary procession (weather permitting).
- – The first 5 Saturday Devotions will continue Saturday 2nd August, commencing with Rosary at 7pm, Holy Mass at 7.30 pm.

- -The Ballygar Cemetery Annual Mass will take place at 10:30am on Sunday, August 10th. In preparation for this there will be a major cleanup in the cemetery on Saturday July 26th and Saturday July 9th, both cleanups starting at 11am. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
