  • The First 5 Saturday Devotions will continue Saturday 3rd January, 2026 in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygar, commencing with Rosary at 7pm, Holy Mass at 7.30pm  It is also on webcam, on line.
  • St Marys Church Choir Annual Christmas Carol Service In aid of St Vincent de Paul, the choir of St Marys Church, Ballygar, will host their annual Christmas Carol service at 8pm on Sunday, December 21st in St Marys Church.  All are welcome to attend.
  • Annual Turkey Trot 2025 – The Turkey Trot Committee is delighted to announce the return of the Annual Turkey Trot in Newbridge on St. Stephen’s Day, Friday, 26th December 2025.  The event will kick off outside The Shiven Inn, with registration opening at 12:30 PM and the walk/run starting promptly at 1:30 PM following a short safety briefing. As always, we will have our famous “Pit Stop” en route, kindly hosted by the Lohan family. There will be plenty of spot prizes, a raffle, and selection boxes for the Under-14s.  Sponsorship Cards are available from New GAA Grounds committee members, local schools, clubs and businesses.
  • Newbridge Tidy Towns’ Committee wishes to sincerely thank everybody for so generously supporting our Christmas Carol Service, Cake Sale & Raffle last Sunday. A huge thank you to the children of Windfield National School & their teachers for their beautiful singing. To all who bought raffle tickets, calendars, cakes and buns – a sincere thank you. Heartfelt thanks to those who sponsored raffle prizes. A special thank you to Newbridge Action Committee for selling 50/50 tickets and doing the draw on the day. Nollaig Shona Daoibh Go Léir!
