Fr. Douglas will be on annual leave for the month of January, 2024. Fr. Joe Fitzgerald and Fr. Louis Lohan will be on duty. The Parochial house can be contacted on a Monday or Thursday morning from 9.30am to 10.30am.

- Turkey Trot – This year’s Turkey Trot will take place on St. Stephens day starting at 1.30pm. Sponsorship cards are in circulation in the parish. Proceeds this year are going to the 3 main clubs, St. Brendan’s GAA, Ballygar Hurling Club, St. Brendan’s LGFA. Let’s get walking and make this the biggest Turkey Trot in the World!!!
- Fundraising Table Quiz – A special fundraising Table Quiz will be held in Mc Donagh’s Lounge, Castleblakney on Friday December 29th at 8 30 pm in aid of The Sebeta School for the Blind in Ethiopia. The event organised by Aidan Mc Donnell who will be one of the Volunteers travelling to complete the work in 2024 will have many prizes and a raffle. Donations are also welcome for this great project.
- Newbridge Action Committee 50/50 draw –Congratulations to this week’s winner Jason & Lisa Holder USA on winning €570, €250 prepaid winner: Conway family New Village, €250 winner: Sarah,Roisin& Aine Delaney Tonacor. Next week’s draw will be in The Shiven Inn. Extra draws for next week. €250 for all prepaids and second draw for €250. Thanks to all who are supporting the draw and all the businesses who are selling the tickets. Next week’s draw Saturday 23rd December in Morans. We will have an extra draw for a hamper and main prize €1000 guaranteed.
