- A NOTE OF GRATITUDE TO MY BELOVED PARISHIONERS – Friday the 30th of October, is a day I will look back with indescribable nostalgia because you clearly and genuinely showed me love, acceptance, appreciation and recognition. I want to express my deepest thanks to everyone who helped in any way during the celebration of my 25th priestly anniversary; such a joyful and faith-filled occasion. When I said ‘yes’ to the Lord’s call years ago, I could not have known the richness of the community He would place me in. Your kindness, generosity, patience, your active faith, your presence and the way you care for one another are constant reminders of God’s grace in action. Thank you for walking this journey with me; for lifting me up in prayer, your appreciation of the gift of the priesthood and for allowing me to share in your most sacred moments. Please keep praying for me, as I promise to keep praying for each of you. God bless you all. I love you. FR. DOUGLAS JOHN ZAGGI (PP).
