  • Assisted pilgrims – Lourdes Pilgrimage, 28th August – 2nd September: Parishioners, there are 2 places available for anyone who would like to participate as an assisted pilgrim for the forthcoming Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes. The pilgrimage includes the Assisted Pilgrim Section, with 35 assisted pilgrims selected from across the diocese. Any individuals with medical conditions or mobility limitations are eligible to apply. Application forms and further information are available from Very Rev. Ray Milton, P.P., Pilgrimage Director, (090-6661115). Completed applications for consideration should be submitted by 11th June.
    • Youth section – Lourdes Pilgrimage, 28th August – 2nd September: Are you aged 17 – 20 years? Would you like to participate? If so, the parish will support one or two youths to participate on behalf of the parish. The parish will contribute partially towards same, with fund raising events organised by participant to cover the remaining cost. If you are interested, please contact Fr Douglas, by Friday 8th May for further information and on the nomination process. 
    • A public Rosary in honour of Our Lady of Fatima will be held on Saturday 16th May 2026 at 4pm outside St.Mary’s Church, Ballygar.
  • Shrine of Our Lady of Clonfert – Come join in prayer for May Devotions. Confessions available Wednesdays and Fridays from 6.00pm onwards. Church open daily for private prayer, 7.00am to 11.00pm.
