TAX BACK SCHEME – Under the Charities Act, Parishes can claim tax back for people who have contributed over €250.00, to the Parish in a year. If you are interested in allowing the Parish to avail of this rebate, at no cost to yourself, please contact the Parish Office for a form. Some families will receive theirs with the Easter Collection envelope. A small number of forms will be available from the 3 Church Porches, to be returned by the 18/19th April and the forms will then be processed.
- The First 5 Saturday Devotions will continue Saturday 4th April 2026 in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygar after Saturday night devotions. It’s also on webcam, online. The Divine Mercy Novena commences on Good Friday 3rd April to Sunday 12th April. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be recited after Good Friday Devotions and see notice board for further times.
- Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine – On Saturday, 18th April, a pilgrimage organised by the Catechism of the Catholic Church – Adult Studies, Steering Committee takes place at Knock Shrine led by Bishop John Keenan, Diocese of Paisley, Scotland. The morning schedule begins at 11am and includes prayer, testimonies and a talk by Bishop Keenan. At 2pm, there will be Stations of the Cross and Rosary followed by Mass at 3pm. - HRC Past Pupils’ Gathering Class of 1981 to 1986 – Holy Rosary College, Mountbellew – Class of 1981 to 1986 are holding a 40 Year Past Pupil Reunion on Saturday 2nd May 2026. This will be an opportunity for classmates to meet up and take a trip down memory lane. Light refreshments will be served on the night. For more Information Contact Claire Healy 085-747-1916.
- Newbridge Ladies Club are hosting “An Introduction to Mindfulness ” in Newbridge Hall on Tuesday 7th April at 8.30pm. Mary Cunningham will give the presentation. All are welcome and bring a friend. Refreshments served.
- **Specsavers Bingo*** – The next bingo in Dunmore Town Hall is on Sunday 12th April at 3pm. Specsavers Tuam are having a FREE raffle, for everyone in attendance, for a €300 Specsavers voucher. They are also giving out €40 vouchers to everyone. Dunmore Community Council will also be giving away a guaranteed Jackpot of €200! We will also have a raffle on the day for a hamper, a very special bingo hamper and more. Thank you again to Specsavers Tuam.
