- Lá Fhéile Bríde – St Brigid’s Day at Knock Shrine – Knock Shrine celebrates St. Brigid on Saturday, January 31st & Sunday, February 1st. On Saturday, make St Brigid’s Crosses in Knock Museum from 12pm to 3pm. On Sunday, St. Brigid’s Flame will be present, courtesy of the Brigidine Sisters. Also on Sunday – 11am: Welcome. 11.15am: Guided Prayer. 12pm: Mass, and global one minute pause for peace. Special welcome to all named in honour of St. Brigid.
- New Readers’/Stewards’ List – Ballygar Church – The new lists for readers and stewards is currently being prepared and will be printed for March 1st. If there is anyone in the parish who might like to read at Mass on a Saturday evening or Sunday morning or would like to help with the stewarding and collection, please let Tomás know by contacting 086 3683778.
- Newbridge Ladies Club are holding an information evening on Women’s Health on Tuesday Feb. 3rd. in Newbridge Hall at 8.30pm. Majella from the Bees Knees Health Shop will be in attendance. All are welcome. Refreshments served.
- Fit For Life – “10 weeks to 5K” every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday Evening there after @ 7.30pm Killyan Sports field. Running or Walking – all levels welcome – free event.

- Kids Inc, Ballygar N.S – We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children to join our team.
