 Exam Mass at Knock Shrine – For all students preparing for exams and their families. Take
some time out from your studies for a quiet moment to ask for God’s strength and guidance
as you move through your exam period. Bing your pencil case to have it blessed. June 5th,

 VAKS (Volunteer at Knock Shrine) programme – It is an opportunity for young people in TY,
5th and 6th year to come to Knock to volunteer for a weekend in either July or August. This is
a great way to meet new friends, serve others, express your faith and have fun! For further

 Ballygar Mens Shed – are holding on open morning on Tuesday 13 th June at 11am, as part of
mens health week. All men are welcome to attend see our facilities and what we have to
offer and of course share a cuppa on the morning. We are based at Town Hall, High Street

 Roscommon Women’s Network – invite you to a Community Conversation identifying the
strengths and needs of your locality in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon Town on Fri 9th June
from 10am to 1:30pm with a Free hot light lunch!  We need your ideas and input in creating
a New Free Training Course in Economical Sustainable Living examples of which include ways
in which we can reuse, grow, share and repair in our homes and locality. Places for this

 “Time for Tea with Ballaghlea National School” –   On Saturday, 10th June, between 4-6pm,
Ballaghlea National School will host a Tea Party in the Mattie McDonagh Centre. Tickets for
this fundraiser are 10euro. All tickets purchased (whether you attend or do not attend) will be
entered into a raffle for amazing prizes. Come have a cup of tea with Ballaghlea! All welcome.
 Newbridge Action Committee 50/50 draw – Congratulations to this week’s winner of the
Newbridge Action Committee 50/50 draw Johnny Glynn, Newbridge on winning €405.Next
week’s draw in Hughes Ballinamore Bridge. Thanks to everyone for their continued support
every week, 6 months and yearly envelopes available from committee members. Next month
The Nature trail host the draw for month of June & Thanks to Killyan Graveyard Committee for
hosting the draw for the month of May.
 Ballygar Tidy Towns & St. Brendan’s Ladies 50/50 – Congratulations to Alex, Mike & Ewan
Murray, Mount Talbot who won €581 in this week’s St Brendan’s Ladies Football Club &
Ballygar Tidy Towns 50/50 Draw. Hamper winner Shane Tierney, Longwood. Thanks to all who
are supporting the draw and all the businesses who are selling the tickets. Next week’s draw
Saturday 4th June in Morans. As this is our 10th Anniversary we have 10 prizes with €1000
guaranteed.
 Ballygar Tidy Towns & St Brendan’s LFC Lotto – 10th Anniversary draw takes place this
Saturday 3rd June in Morans. To celebrate our success we have 10 prizes with first prize
